Howdy, I’m John.

I am an independent, owner-operated tile and natural stone installer from Cody, WY currently residing in Minneapolis, MN. My background in design, carpentry and business casts a wide net from over a decade of work in specialty graphic design and printmaking in the outdoor industry, to a brief yet enlightening apprenticeship as a stonemason. These experiences combined with my love for tile and natural stone products ultimately led to the creation of Fortress Tile and Stone. It’s not just a job, or even a business but ultimately a “soul purpose”.
